Google Focusing More on Mobile Technology
Google, along with other search engines, is cashing in on the popularity of smartphones to promote its products for mobile users. Google Engineering Vice President Vic Gundotra, has predicted that search ads on mobiles will ultimately take over PC ads. Google claims to have seen significant increase in search traffic on mobiles, and this is because advertisers are focusing more on mobile users.
Apart from Google desktop, Google intends to begin development for several mobile products. One such apps is “Goggles” for Android phones. Despite its heavily promoted Android software, Google has less market share, when compared with Symbian, Apple and other competitors.
