More than half the respondents of a recent survey revealed that they want mobile devices like the iPad to perform work-related activities on-the-go. The survey conducted by Sybase, an enterprise software vendor also revealed that people are using mobile devices for business and personal applications, and that such users feel that they are “more productive” than others.

Reports from the survey say that 75% respondents believe that smartphones and other mobile devices like iPads contribute to their productivity. People also felt that they require access to more work-related applications to enhance productivity; many people still don’t have access to work data and apps on their mobile devices.
