iPhone “May” Get Multitasking

iPhone OS 4.0 will soon gain multitasking, if AppleInsider sources are to be believed. Apple plans to bring in a multitasking manager that will help its iPhone users to run more than one app at any given time. However, there is no other news of when, and how, this app will be made available.

While iPhone OS 4.0 does currently offer multitasking, it is limited in its usage. At most one can put a call on hold, while browsing through the phone, or check their mail, while listening to music.
