Have you been running a digital marketing campaign for quite some time now, without much success? Well, could it be that you have been using the wrong keywords all along? A recent survey conducted by Hydra, a leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS), revealed that only about 40% of the 300 digital marketers who participated in the survey were confident about the quality of keywords they use in their campaigns. This is certainly a cause for alarm, as careful choices of keywords are the keys to success of digital marketing campaigns.

Hydra did explain that most digital marketing teams do not happen to have enough resources on hand to carry out keyword research and build lists prior to every project, and even less have enough manpower to spare, in order to keep those lists updated. That does not change the situation though, as campaigns based on outdated keywords, that are no longer in demand, are highly likely to fail.

Could there be a solution to this, other than having a couple professionals constantly working on keyword research? Well, outsourcing the job is certainly a viable solution. This could save a lot of money and resources for companies, and still ensure maximum chances of success in their new digital marketing campaigns.
