Report: Search Market Share Figures For June

ComScore has released its monthly report on the number of searches conducted for the month of June 2010 in the US. On the basis of volume, Yahoo and Bing’s market share have increased while Google’s market share has dropped. However, while comparing the number of search requests received by each search engine, Google has topped the list.
According to the figures on the basis of volume, Google’s market share had gone down to 62.6% from 63.7% in May. Yahoo’s share has increased to 18.9% from 18.3% in May while Bing’s share has also increased from 12.1% in May to 12.7%. On the basis of search queries received, Google (10.292 billion) tops the list with a 1.3% increase from May. Yahoo (3.114 billion) came in second with a 6.6% increase, while Bing (2.082 billion) is next with a 7.3% increase.
