Small Business yet to Avail Benefits of Social Media
A recent study by a financial organisation has revealed that most small businesses are not taking full advantage of the tools available to them though social media. The survey of 552 small business executives across the U.S. discovered that in the last year, 37 percent of small companies have not used a website for marketing or expanding their business. Another 84 percent have not sold products or services using ecommerce, and 62 percent are not marketing through basic email.
Experts say that most businesses are yet to harness the marketing and communication power that online tools provide. However, entrepreneurs who have extensively used social media for their marketing and online campaigning said that their businesses grew radically with the help of these tools.
