Solar Eclipse – Through the Eye of Pi

Eclipse

It’s not every day that you’ll find the Pi office deserted in the middle of a normal working day, but considering this was an eclipse that brought the Maha Kumbh to a standstill, we guess an exception can be excused. :) To top it all, looks like the lunch delivery has been delayed by more than an hour, as the cooks won’t cook during an eclipse!* (Jago India, Jago!)

Incidentally, this also happens to be the longest solar eclipse of this century, and we captured this quite glamorous picture from a decidedly unglamorous location (next to a septic tank behind the office)!

We’re still trying to figure out who magically conjured up the X-Ray plate through which we viewed the eclipse (believe it or not, we actually had to stand in queue!), but we’re sure you’ll agree that the plate in front of the camera lens did add a magical quality!

* Note to Management: Can we implement the Domino’s rule here… that lunch delayed by more than 30 minutes is free?
