Statistics: Who is Blogging in the US?
Blogs have become popular among all ages as it serves as a great source to get useful information. The findings from the report have been tabulated after reviewing more than 100 million blog posts:
- Age – People between the age group of 21-35 form the bulk of the bloggers. It is evident that blogging is most popular among the younger people with a high percentage of 53.3%. The under-20 generation is next with 20.2%.
- Gender – The figures are almost evenly balanced with males constituting 49.1% and females 50.9% of the bloggers in the US.
- Gender Distribution – The US currently accounts for 29.2% bloggers, followed closely by UK that constitutes about 6.75% of the blogosphere. Japan, Brazil, Canada, and Germany rank behind UK and US.
