Study: Most of Buzz Content Is Automated
A study by PostRank has found that most of the content (89.04%) in Google Buzz is from automated sources like news feeds. 62.57% of its content is from Twitter, while 26.47% is through RSS.
Twitter users automatically repost their tweets to Buzz to avoid retyping. Similarly companies post their blogs and articles via RSS feed, without any additional information. This means that most of Buzz’s content does not originate from it.
