Twitter founder Evan Williams announced a new platform for his company, @Anywhere, at the SXSW, without any fanfare, and did not provide much information, leaving many disappointed and frustrated. @Anywhere allows web publishers to insert Twitter feeds within their content. Twitter will be paid for this privilege and it benefits online publishers also.

This platform will give tweeters more flexibility in where and when they tweet. For example, one can tweet about an article right after reading it and need not worry about finding people who share the same thoughts. While the experience will be appreciated by tweeters, the lack of many details dampened the spirit at the SXSW.
